Difference between Blade 6 and Blade 6 Dual Core:
The top layer of the Blade 6 dartboard consists of several loose pieces of sisal, which creates "weak" spots in the top layer at the seams. On the Blade 6 Dual Core, this top layer is made from one piece of sisal and therefore has no weak spots.
Density Control:
The pressed wire profile to separate the throwing areas normally forms a curved sisal wire on both sides, which creates weak spots. The triples and doubles in particular are therefore weaker and denser, which gives more bounces than large areas.
With the new Winmau patented Density Control technology, the wire profile has a different shape so that all sisal fibers in the triples and doubles are upright. This ensures a better hold of the dart and less wear and tear on the dartboard.
